Specializing in Library Automation Systems and other education-industry software, we strive to develop and distribute easy to use software solutions for schools and public libraries.
We are seeking an energetic, personable, academically astute to assist in developing our sales territory in Canada and the US. The Lead Generator is responsible for generating qualified leads across assigned U.S. and Canadian territories by identifying, researching, and engaging K-12 school districts and public library systems. This role is focused on uncovering high-value opportunities through strategic outreach, serving as the front end of the business development pipeline.
Duties
1. Identify and generate high-potential pipeline opportunities across assigned territories
2. Qualify opportunities prior to handoff to Business Development Managers (BDMs), assessing timeline and urgency, pain points and institutional needs, decision-making structure, budget and funding information
3. Collaborate closely with BDMs to align on territory strategy, prioritize accounts, and ensure a consistent flow of well-qualified opportunities into the pipeline
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records (HubSpot) to ensure clean data, clear activity tracking, and reliable reporting
Requirements
1. Strong written and verbal communication skills
2. Excellent research, analytical and organizational skills
3. Comfort working with CRM systems (HubSpot) and digital prospecting tools
4. Experience in sales, business development, or research-focused roles is an asset
Salary and benefits
1. $22-$25/ hour, based on experience and education
2. Annual bonus based on performance
