Materials Purchasing Coordinator – Windsor, ON

We’re hiring a Materials Purchasing Coordinator to support purchasing and materials management within a food manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Purchase ingredients, packaging materials, and indirect supplies based on production needs.
• Manage purchase orders, supplier communication, pricing, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and perform cycle counts / plant inventory checks.
• Work with suppliers to resolve shortages, delays, and quality issues.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, R&D, and Logistics teams.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier information in the ERP system.
• Support cost savings, continuous improvement, and food safety initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of purchasing, procurement, materials, or supply chain experience.
• Experience in food manufacturing or CPG is an asset.
• ERP and Microsoft Office experience.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Diploma/degree in Supply Chain, Business, Food Science, or a related field is an asset.
