JOB DESCRIPTION SENIOR PARTS CLERK
Our client is a major Canadian supplier specializing in the sale, rental, and maintenance of heavy equipment. Primarily vacuum trucks (hydrovac), sewer cleaning trucks, and infrastructure maintenance equipment.
The company serves municipalities, contractors, and industrial businesses.
Main Challenges
We are looking for an experienced Parts Clerk to lead the Parts Department and support the Service and Sales teams.
This position is essential to the smooth operation of the business, customer satisfaction, and sound inventory management.
Required Skills And Personal Qualities
- Manage the daily operations of the parts department
- Ensure an optimal level of innovation and cost control
- Research, order, and price parts for heavy equipment
- Provide support to mechanics and customers
- Manage parts inventory
- Coordinate urgent orders to prevent production downtime
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
Experience And Requirements REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of heavy machinery and industrial components
- Ability to use electronic catalogs and inventory management software
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Customer service oriented and clear communication skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Compensation
- $60K to $70K depending on experience
