You Will Need To

• Estimate civil works costs (labor, equipment, materials) using specialized software (training provided).
• Carry out quantity take-offs according to the plans and specifications (Excavation - backfilling, formwork - concreting, drainage, etc.)
• Request price quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
• Prepare preliminary work schedules
• Support for construction sites as needed

Requirements

• Strong interest in the field of construction;
• Basic knowledge of CAD (Autocad, Civil 3D);
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret plans;
• Sense of planning and organization;
• Autonomy;
• Knowledge of common computer programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• To be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Training

• DEC in civil engineering, estimating or any other related training and experience.

Terms

• Permanent, full-time position at our Trois-Rivières office;

Strengths

• Knowledge of Planswift, TPL, Mensura and MS Project software;
• Knowledge of English
• Advanced knowledge of CAD
