Aurora Montessori School is a co-educational Montessori private school located in the heart of Aurora, Ontario on 14 acres of natural conservation lands. AMS delivers enriched Montessori programming to students aged 18 months to Grade 8 in a 36,000 sq. ft facility with multiple playground areas, an outdoor amphitheatre and outdoor classroom, and a gymnasium with a performance stage, and so much more.

Aurora Montessori School is seeking supply Montessori or OCT educators. We seek dynamic, kind-hearted teachers who love to work with children and whose primary goal is to nurture and inspire each child.

This position is ideal for Montessori/OCT educators looking to work part-time and flexibly for the 2026-2027 academic year and beyond.

Requirements

• Montessori Elementary Diploma (6-12 years) or an Early Childhood (Casa) Diploma from a MACTE accredited or AMI training centre and/or must be certified, and in good standing, with the Ontario College of Teachers. We welcome teacher candidates to apply with a Transitional Certificate.
• Follow the school’s policies and procedures
• Self-starter with high energy, flexibility, initiative, and the ability to multi-task
• Experience working collaboratively as part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written skills
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C
