Senior Information Technology Auditor

Our client is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor – IT Audit to join their team on a perm basis. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced IT audit professional who can independently lead audits from planning through execution and reporting, navigate business processes at varying levels of maturity, and provide practical, risk-focused recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently develop audit scopes, risk assessments, and testing plans.
• Plan and execute IT General Controls (ITGC), SOX, and SOC testing.
• Assess IT applications, information security, and network management controls.
• Identify and evaluate risks, adapting audit approaches as needed.
• Lead end-to-end audit fieldwork, including discussing and negotiating findings with management.
• Work with business areas to strengthen controls and improve processes.
• Communicate audit findings effectively, translating technical risks into business impact.

Qualifications

• Strong IT audit experience in industry or public accounting.
• Experience with ITGCs, SOX, SOC, application controls, information security, and network management.
• CISA, CISSP, or CPA designation preferred; candidates actively pursuing a designation will also be considered.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and adapt to changing risk environments.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
