ASD-S - Casual Custodian - St. Stephen Education Centre

Anglophone South School District is seeking Casual Custodians to provide custodial services within our schools and district facilities on an as-needed basis.

Reporting to the School Principal or designate, Casual Custodians are responsible for supporting the cleanliness, safety, and overall maintenance of school environments. Duties may include cleaning classrooms, hallways, washrooms, common areas, maintaining building security, setting up and taking down furniture and equipment, and performing other custodial duties as assigned in accordance with the Collective Agreement.

Successful candidates will possess a high school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Candidates must be in good physical condition and able to perform the physical requirements of the position. Employer-approved training and related custodial or maintenance experience will be considered assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Successful completion of employer-approved training, or willingness to complete required training.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Previous custodial, maintenance, or cleaning experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
