Commercial Litigation Associate

We are seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 3+ years of experience to join a growing litigation practice in Kelowna, BC. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial litigation skills, solid academic credentials, and the motivation to develop their practice while handling complex disputes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and assist with complex commercial litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Draft pleadings, legal opinions, applications, and other litigation documents.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and advocate for their interests.
• Provide practical, client-focused advice on commercial disputes.
• Build and develop a successful litigation practice.
• Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to the growth of the firm's commercial litigation practice.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of post-call experience; flexibility is available.
• Strong experience and interest in commercial litigation.
• Solid law school grades and academic performance.
• Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• High level of motivation and ambition to develop a litigation practice.
• Strong commitment to client service and practical legal solutions.
• Ability to manage complex litigation matters and work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Official law school transcripts required as part of the application.
