Technical Sales Representative | Sarnia

My client, a well-established company in the industrial instrumentation, process control, and automation industry, is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Representative to manage and grow its Sarnia territory.

You’ll be working with an established customer base, a strong portfolio of industrial products and services, and a collaborative internal team to support your success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and strengthen relationships with existing industrial customers while identifying new business opportunities.
• Proactively prospect within your territory to generate new sales and expand market presence.
• Understand customers’ technical challenges and recommend appropriate instrumentation, valve, and automation solutions.
• Develop territory plans and collaborate with the Sales Manager to drive growth.
• Work closely with inside sales, service teams, suppliers, and technical support to deliver effective customer solutions.
• Maintain accurate customer activity, contacts, and opportunities through the CRM.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong technical knowledge of industrial instrumentation, controls, valves, and automation.
• Technical education or relevant industry experience in these areas.
• A consultative, customer-focused approach and a proactive mindset toward business development.
• A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel throughout the territory.

• $85,000–$120,000 base salary + commission.
