Skilled Construction Labourer

Location: Campbell River, BC

Job Type: Full-time, In-person

What You’ll Do

  • Follow safe work practices and procedures on site.
  • Assist with the construction of residential buildings, including wood-frame, steel, and concrete construction, throughout various stages of the build.
  • Use hand and power tools and other construction equipment safely and effectively.
  • Provide guidance and support to apprentices and labourers, sharing your knowledge and experience.
  • Pitch in where needed and take on additional duties as required.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Strong carpentry skills and 2+ years of experience in high-density residential construction.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • A team-first mindset and the flexibility to jump in wherever needed.
  • A strong work ethic, sense of urgency, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work indoors and outdoors.

The Following Are Considered Assets

  • Ability to read blueprints and knowledge of the BC Building Code.
  • First Aid certification (OFA Level 2 or 3).
  • Telehandler operator certification.
  • Skid steer operating experience.
