Overview

Liberty Kitchen Harbour Centre in North Vancouver is hiring experienced Line Cooks for full-time and part-time positions. We’re looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, and self-motivated people to join our team. If you’re passionate about preparing great food and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
• Follow all food safety guidelines and protocols to ensure the highest quality of meals.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
• Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up and breaking down workstations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
