Custodian

Part-Time: Weekdays, evenings and weekends

Willingdon Church is looking for a Part-time Custodian who can provide support in the area of janitorial services to all ministries. Willingdon Custodians have a heart for supporting the ministries of Willingdon and are welcoming and kind to all visitors to the church.

Primary Responsibilities Include

• Perform all cleaning and maintenance duties according to the work shift ordered scheduled
• Opening and closing the building and maintaining the security protocols to ensure a safe environment
• Prepare and set up venues for events, gathers and meetings
• Ensuring all walkways and parking lots at WC, BCIT and Moscrop are properly maintained during inclement weather
• Demonstrates excellence in their customer/visitor service

Skills Required

• Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks for extended periods
• Ability to work independently and alongside other staff members
• Ability to work with cleaning equipment and tools as needed
• Knowledge of all building systems, building construction, site utilities and site construction is an asset
