Mobile Mechanic- EN

Under the supervision of the mobile maintenance supervisor, the mechanic:

• Performs maintenance on mobile equipment and ensures their proper functioning;
• Carries out tasks according to proper procedures and safely;
• Performs planned maintenance and work;
• Ensures the upkeep and maintenance of a large fleet of highly diverse equipment to maintain good surface and underground operations.

Job Qualifications

• Holds a vocational diploma (DEP) in mechanics or equivalent;
• Has a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience;
• Possesses good manual skills;
• Demonstrates autonomy and strong ability to work in a team;
• Ability to make certain decisions and has a sharp analytical capacity;
• Prioritizes health and safety as well as teamwork as key values at work;
• Possession of modular mining worker training is considered an asset;
• Holds a valid explosives permit or can obtain one.
