Individual Therapist/Independent Contractor

Independent Contractor Clinician | OCD & Anxiety | Peterborough, ON

Pothos Counselling & Consultation Services is looking for a regulated clinician ready to join and expand a private practice focused on OCD and anxiety treatment.

This is an independent contractor role, and it's designed to give you genuine autonomy. The ideal candidate is curious, committed to evidence-based practice, and interested in meaningful specialised work with clients who often wait a long time to find the right fit in a clinician. Expertise in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is not required; that is something that we can build together.

The position would begin August 4th, at which time you will have access to a fully furnished office and the freedom to build your own schedule and set your own hours. Caseload is expected to start at 5-22 sessions a week and can expand over time. Pothos will actively assist your growth through managing referrals and marketing, and providing individualised support to help you develop a meaningful and sustainable caseload.

Fee split is 68% to you ($112.50/session), with room to grow over time.

What you offer

• Registration as an RSW, RP, RN or OT in good standing, with liability insurance
• Minimum 3 years experience in community or private settings
• A genuine interest in private practice and in developing OCD-specific clinical skills
• Experience working with youth and adolescents is an asset
