Job Title: Hvac Sales Representative

Work Location: 2320 St. Laurent Blvd, Ottawa, ON K1G 6C4

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 base. Commissions and bonus plans available

Position Overview

Your primary focus will be to identify and secure new clients for our preventative maintenance programs — helping them protect and optimize their building HVAC systems.

We’re looking for a results-driven Outside HVAC Sales Representative to help drive the growth and profitability at Carmichael Engineering.

  • Identify, target, and qualify prospective customers through a disciplined, professional sales process.
  • Conduct discovery and solution-based sales calls to understand client needs and recommend tailored HVAC service solutions for Maintenance contracts and retrofits.
  • Develop and execute a territory marketing plan; attend industry and networking events to expand business opportunities.
  • Represent Carmichael Engineering with professionalism, integrity, and pride while upholding our standards of quality and service excellence.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity tracking.

Required

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience selling HVAC Preventative Maintenance or similar intangible services/service-based solutions
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience working in Sales
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Strong value-based and consultative selling skills
  • Experience selling intangible or service-based solutions
  • Security clearance qualification an asset
  • Bilingualism in English/French an asset

Preferred

  • Strong technical acumen and attention to detail
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Familiarity with recognized sales methodologies and industry standard

Bonus Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in business, mechanical, or related field
