We have a contract opening for a 3PL Key User.
Location: Onsite, 25 Wolseley Court, Cambridge
Employment Type: Contract (12-months)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Pay: $60-65K
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The mission of the 3PL Interfaces Key User is to represent end users within the project scope and ensure that the ERP solution supports the target business processes defined by BPOs and SMEs.
The 3PL Key User also supports ERP knowledge transfer and solution adoption by end users. This role contributes during solution build, deployment, and run phases, requiring long-term expertise in system use within the assigned business and geographical scope.
During project, deployment, and ERP evolution phases, the Key User is responsible for the following:
Enable business process alignment, interface design, and solution design
- Contribute to detailed solution design and help resolve business process issues efficiently.
- Capture, qualify, and relay users need to improve solution adoption and satisfaction.
- Support the definition of change requests and business requirements to adjust the ERP solution. Support design of SAP Middleware
- 3PL / Portal interfaces
- Validate order, fulfillment, inventory, receipt, and related logistics integration flows.
- Identify mapping gaps and support their resolution with business and IT stakeholders.
Ensure implementation, integration testing, and data quality
- Test the solution by co-building use cases with BPOs and SMEs, preparing detailed scenarios, identifying test data, and executing test scripts, including ERP reporting checks.
- Investigate interface, integration, and data inconsistencies.
- Provide feedback on IT solutions, including user interface and user experience considerations.
- Support updates to standard operating procedures when required.
- Participate in IT validation activities, including risk assessment, test script writing, and test execution.
- Support data migration activities, including data cleansing, preparation, and migration testing.
Ensures end users readiness for go live
- Create user manuals and training materials.
- Organize and facilitate training sessions for end users.
- Participate in change management activities, including the creation of learning materials that support the transformation process.
- Provide Level 1 support to end users and input for Level 2 support.
- Create Level 2 support tickets as needed.
During the run phase of the ERP, the Key User:
- Organize and facilitate training sessions for end users, including new hires
- Provide Level 1 support to end users and input for Level 2 support.
- Document and communicate change requests to the relevant BPOs.
- Create Level 2 support tickets as needed.
- Monitor interface performance.
- Work with IT and business teams to resolve discrepancies, missing confirmations, and interface-related issues.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Education
- High School Diploma
Experience
- Minimum of two years of experience in logistics or another supply chain function within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is desirable; experience with EDI/API and system integrations is preferred.
- Previous experience training end users on software or ERP solutions.
Competencies
- Strong knowledge of third-party logistics, warehousing, and transportation activities.
- IT software, systems, or integration background; certification is an asset.
- Ability to understand users’ perspectives, goals, and challenges.
- Innovation and adaptability skills, with the ability to consider end-user needs and future solution evolution.
- Strong analytical skills, including investigation and root cause identification.
- Leadership skills, including follow-up, organization, and prioritization.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and end users.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Based in the geographical area of the Septodont entities supported by the Key User. Occasional international travel may be required when contributing to the build of the global ERP solution.
The role may require flexible working hours, days, or weeks, including holidays, to support project deliverables.
