Strategic Leadership & Community Impact

As a Board Member, you will contribute to governance, strategy, and organizational oversight. You’ll collaborate with fellow directors to shape priorities related to programming, membership growth, partnerships, and long-term sustainability. Your voice helps guide decisions like expanding workshop offerings, investing in new tools, and strengthening community connections.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ongoing Contributions

• Attend and actively participate in board meetings and strategic discussions
• Provide oversight on organizational performance, financial health, and risk management
• Contribute to policy development and governance best practices
• Support organizational priorities such as programming, outreach, or operations

Strategic Initiatives

• Participate in annual planning and long-term strategy development
• Support community partnerships and sponsorship opportunities
• Act as an ambassador for Saskatoon Makerspace within the broader community
• Contribute expertise to special projects or committees as needed
