Sr Shipper

• Responsible for order picking and ensuring all order accuracy and fulfillment is met within cut off times, report any shortages or discrepancies to the sales team
• Follow and complete all company start up procedures and documents, ensuring equipment is fit for service

  • Temperature monitoring for coolers & freezers
  • Power jack pre-op checklist
• Inform maintenance of all breakdowns/faulty equipment related to any piece of equipment in Shipping (Freezers, coolers, trucks, premises, power jack, shelving, etc.)
• Responsible for completing monthly fresh and frozen warehouse scans, correct and follow up on any inventory discrepancies with Shipping Coordinator
• Ensure and promote compliance to company safety guidelines as well as policies and procedures
• Train new shipping employees and develop them to meet their potential
• Adhere to cold chain procedures, monitor & record temperature levels and follow up with actions to remedy when issues arise
• Ownership of all finished goods on-site, ensuring that product is organized and shipped on time
• Oversee and organize special orders to ensure they are completed and delivered on time
• Follow FIFO protocol to minimize spoilage and loss of productMaintain inventory levels, working with both the sales and production teams to generate optimum product flow
