About The Opportunity

LRO Staffing is partnering with a respected national healthcare-focused organization to recruit a Bilingual Surveyor Resources Specialist for a 10-month hybrid contract opportunity based in Ottawa.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced bilingual professional with a background in healthcare, recruitment, or human resources to support the coordination and management of healthcare surveyors across Canada. The successful candidate will play a key role in recruitment strategy, surveyor engagement, scheduling, and deployment while ensuring a high level of customer service and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role is well suited to someone with strong communication skills, experience working with healthcare professionals, and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Support surveyor management functions including recruitment, deployment, planning, engagement, and performance management activities
  • Assist with surveyor needs assessments, recruitment strategy development, and ongoing workforce planning initiatives
  • Maintain and support a strong pipeline of qualified healthcare surveyors across Canada
  • Coordinate surveyor scheduling and deployment activities while ensuring the appropriate match between surveyors and accreditation surveys
  • Communicate professionally with healthcare professionals and stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions
  • Respond to surveyor inquiries and troubleshoot scheduling or operational challenges as they arise
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate schedules and resolve resourcing issues
  • Support policy development, reporting, process improvements, and related project initiatives
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and database records
  • Assist with data analysis, reporting, and preparation of recommendations and insights
  • Provide exceptional customer service while managing competing priorities and deadlines

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • College diploma or university degree in Human Resources, Health and Social Services, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting recruitment, deployment, workforce coordination, or related human resources functions
  • Experience working within the healthcare sector or strong knowledge of healthcare systems and health professions is strongly preferred
  • Fully bilingual in English and French, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages (essential)
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work proactively and independently in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage changing priorities and last-minute adjustments
  • Experience coordinating schedules, managing pipelines, and supporting operational planning activities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Strong project coordination and process improvement capabilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, SharePoint, virtual meeting platforms, and database systems

About the Job

  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Ottawa office with remote flexibility
  • Duration: 10-month, full-time contract
  • Hourly Pay: $38.00 to $42.00
  • Hours: 35-hour work week with flexibility within normal business hours
