Universal Truck and Trailer is Atlantic Canada's largest heavy-duty truck and trailer dealership, representing Freightliner, Western Star, and Heli Forklifts across New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team and help transform data into actionable business insights. Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000

  • Lead end-to-end analytics projects, from data extraction and preparation through analysis, modeling, and visualization.

  • Develop descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics solutions that support business decision-making.

  • Partner with operational and business leaders to identify opportunities, solve challenges, and uncover actionable insights.

  • Integrate and analyze data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and integrity.

  • Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations that enable leaders to monitor performance and make informed decisions.

  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within complex datasets and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.

  • Translate technical analysis into practical recommendations that drive business results.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights and performance measurement.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, predictive modeling, or a related discipline.

  • Experience working with SQL and relational databases.

  • Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SPSS, or similar platforms.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

  • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts and insights to non-technical audiences.

  • Experience building predictive or prescriptive models is considered an asset.

  • Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
