Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer

The role in a nutshell

We're growing our Montreal team and hiring 3 Cloud Engineers to design, deploy, and operate hosting infrastructure at global scale — on our private cloud and on public clouds (AWS, OVH). A full-scope role: from pre-sales to architecture to operations, working directly with clients.

What you'll do

• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure (private, public, hybrid) for international clients
• Provide proactive monitoring, maintenance, and incident resolution
• Support clients from needs qualification (pre-sales) through full management of their cloud architecture
• Propose optimizations and evolve existing infrastructure
• Document architectures and share knowledge with the team
• Stay on top of cloud technology trends

Schedule: day shift + rotating night on-call with the team (approximately 1 week out of 3), compensated at

$200/week.

What we're looking for

Required

• Minimum 3 years of experience in managed services or hosting
• Advanced proficiency in Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS) and/or Windows Server
• Experience with virtualization, storage, and backup (Proxmox, VMware, EMC, Veeam)
• Strong client-facing skills, rigor, and solid writing abilities
• Fluent French and English
• Valid working visa

Nice to have

• Networking: Cisco ASA, Fortinet, iptables, VLANs, routing, subnetting
• Scripting: Bash, PHP
• AWS experience or certifications

Un rôle à spectre complet : de l'avant-vente à l'architecture jusqu'aux opérations, en travaillant directement avec les clients.

Ce que vous ferez

• Déployer et gérer l'infrastructure cloud (privée, publique, hybride) pour des clients internationaux
• Assurer une surveillance proactive, la maintenance et la résolution d'incidents
• Accompagner les clients depuis la qualification des besoins (avant-vente) jusqu'à la gestion complète de leur architecture cloud
• Proposer des optimisations et faire évoluer l'infrastructure existante
• Documenter les architectures et partager les connaissances avec l'équipe
• Rester à l'affût des tendances technologiques du cloud

Horaires : quart de jour + astreinte de nuit en rotation avec l'équipe (environ 1 semaine sur 3), compensée à 200 $ / semaine.

Ce que nous recherchons

Requis

• Minimum 3 ans d'expérience dans les services gérés ou l'hébergement
• Maîtrise avancée de Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS) et/ou Windows Server
• Expérience en virtualisation, stockage et sauvegarde (Proxmox, VMware, EMC, Veeam)
• Solides compétences relationnelles face aux clients, rigueur et bonnes capacités de rédaction
• Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais
• Visa de travail valide au Canada

Atouts

• Réseautique : Cisco ASA, Fortinet, iptables, VLANs, routage, sous-réseaux
• Scripting : Bash, PHP
• Expérience ou certifications AWS
