Responsibilities

  • Assist with the production of plastic products in accordance with quality and production standards.
  • Load raw materials into machinery and remove finished products from production lines.
  • Inspect products for defects, damage, or quality issues and report concerns to supervisors.
  • Package, label, and palletize finished goods for storage or shipment.
  • Operate basic production equipment and machinery as trained.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records as required.
  • Perform cleaning and housekeeping duties to keep work areas safe and organized.
  • Assist with machine changeovers and setup activities under supervision.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and manufacturing guidelines.
  • Use hand tools, measuring tools, and material handling equipment safely.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training.
  • Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions.
  • Troubleshoot problems and report issues.
  • Must work well in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb minimal, only as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 42lbs
  • Line production is constant flow.
  • Ability to be on feet consistently 8 hours up to a 12 hours per scheduled shift
  • Walking during this standing time in work cell, continuous rotation based on area assigned.
  • Repetitive turning & twisting during production based on area assigned.
  • Reaching above shoulders, hand and wrist repetitive simple grasping to pick up drum, flip drum for stacking and unloading as needed when assigned this area.
  • Use of hands and fingers to perform job function with hand tools as needed up to full scheduled shift.
  • The ability to wear all required personal protective equipment for the position they are assigned to each day. This equipment can include some or all: hard hat, ear plugs, safety glasses, face shield, steel toed boots, and cut resistant gloves.
