Title: Sr. Data Platform Engineer (Halifax, Montreal, Toronto)

Location: Toronto, ON (4 days HYBRID)

Duration: Long term assignment

Required

  • Database administration and optimization: MongoDB (NoSQL), MS SQL (SQL), Redis, ElasticSearch
  • Data modeling and schema design
  • Query tuning and optimization
  • ETL/ELT Pipeline development and support
  • Workflow orchestration with Apache Airflow, schedulers, and cron jobs
  • Event streaming and messaging: Apache Kafka and Solace
  • Data ingestion, transformation, and integration
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, backup/recovery, and production support
  • Security, access control, and environment configurations
