Salary: $38.00 hourly (130 to 150 hours per month)

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team in a pharmaceutical and medical laboratory setting. The successful candidate will support laboratory operations, perform sample analysis, and maintain equipment in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine the results of the tests
• Set up medical laboratory equipment
• Clean and maintain medical laboratory and laboratory equipment
• Conduct quality control assessment of testing techniques
• Prepare samples
• Analyze data and prepare reports
• Staff in various areas of responsibility

Requirements

Education

• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience

Experience

• 5 years or more

Specialized Experience & Skills

• Analytical techniques: GC-MS/FID system, Chromatography
• Laboratory testing and analysis
• Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word
• Area of work experience: Pharmaceuticals and medicines
• Area of specialization: Testing
