We are currently seeking a passionate Adult Day Service Worker | Bus Driver to join our dedicated team in the Adult Day Services program at Deni House in Williams Lake!
Your Role
As an Adult Day Service Worker | Bus Driver, you'll play an important role in helping older adults and individuals with diverse abilities remain active, engaged, and connected to their community. Working as part of a caring, client-centered team, you'll support clients with daily living activities while leading and participating in meaningful recreational, social, and life skills programs that promote independence, well-being, and quality of life.
In this role, you'll safely transport clients to and from the Adult Day Centre and community outings, helping create positive experiences both in the program and out in the community. Every day offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, encourage participation, and make a lasting difference in the lives of those you support.
Discover Deni House
Deni House is located adjacent to Cariboo Memorial Hospital and embodies a client–centered philosophy designed to support clients’ choices, help people function at their highest level and provide the best quality of life possible. Deni House consists of 28 beds in divided among permanent residential, short stay/convalescent, respite, and palliative care beds. We have a mixture of elderly and younger patients. It is a smaller facility which allows staff to get to know the clients. There is a Recreation Coordinator onsite who plans activities.
