Rate of Pay: $120,334 - $142,915

Join Our Inspired Team! The Opportunity

We need a Manager of Mental Health & Regional Programs to join our leadership team! This role will develop strong relationships with our Regional Partners to deliver outstanding care.

CGMH’s Outpatient Mental Health Program provides services for individuals through intensive case management, psychotherapy, perinatal mental health and group programming. Our Crisis Services are offered within the Emergency Department and provide urgent mental health risk assessments, consultation and planning to support transfers where appropriate to a Schedule 1 facility. Our Mobile Crisis Response Team partners with our local MPP detachments to support crisis support and outreach. Planning for our future Hospital includes further integration and support for those experiencing mental health into the Emergency Department.

Our Dialysis unit, located within the Hospital, is a satellite of the Regional Dialysis Program located at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital. The Dialysis Unit has eight stations and operates six days a week. Collaboration with the Regional Dialysis Program will be a key area for this role.

Tomorrow’s Hospital includes a Regional Chemotherapy site. Supporting individual’s going through their cancer journey closer to home is one of CGMH’s key goals as we look to create capacity. The successful applicant will be instrumental in the design of this space and program.

What You’ll Bring

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related discipline
  • Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses, OR, Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers
  • Strong knowledge of clinical nursing practice and college of nurses standards of practice
  • Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong partnership building skills with physicians, staff, community and regional partners
  • Experience with managing regional programs

Preferred

  • Masters Degree in nursing or health-related discipline
  • Leadership Experience
  • Experience with Accreditation
  • Experience with Hospital Development
