Locum GP – North Cornwall

Background

We are working with a well-regarded coastal GP practice in North Cornwall seeking Locum GP support across a range of ad-hoc dates in July and August, including 27th, 28th July and 7th August. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a scenic location with a supportive team and manageable workload.

There are also ongoing requirements for ad hoc locum work with this practice, so if you live in the North Cornwall area or commutable areas this is an excellent opportunity to develop a relationship with a local practice for regular locum work.

Salary – £700-£800 per day

The Practice

• Mid-sized practice with a stable and experienced clinical team
• Support from Paramedics, helping reduce home visit burden
• Structured day with protected admin time
• Efficient appointment system with 15-minute appointments
• Picturesque coastal town in North Cornwall
• Easy access with on-site parking available
• Popular tourist destination with excellent local amenities

Your role

• 27th, 28th July & 7th August currently available plus additional ongoing requirements
• 11 patients per session
• 15-minute appointments
• Plus, additional slots in PM session for 5-minute tasks approx. 3
• 8.30am – 5.30pm could be flex on start/finish times
• Home Visits – not often have a Paramedic that would do visits in first instance
• No duty required for ad-hoc dates
• You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and be registered with the GMC and UK Performers List
