Position Overview
We are currently searching for a motivated, Marketing Coordinator with a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. This position is the first point of contact for the Marketing Team and plays a key role in the smooth and timely execution of all marketing related activities. This position will be based out of our Dartmouth head office and operate within our hybrid model.
The Marketing Coordinator will coordinate and execute projects and initiatives that span brand management, new product development, and digital marketing. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Primary Point of contact – Marketing Team
- First point of contact for internal questions and inquiries from other departments
- Coordinator with Sales Team on ad hoc requests
- Plan and coordinate tradeshow attendance and activities
Brand Team Support
- Support in the development and execution of in-store programs and materials
- Execute new product marketing launch plans
- Coordinate the execution of other marketing programs (i.e. new packaging, leveraging sponsorships, media, consumer education, etc.)
- Support the execution of corporate brand deliverables (i.e. building signage)
- Support brand plan execution
Tools & Activation
- Act as quality assurance for marketing materials and messaging
- Execute updates across materials and implement regulatory compliance (i.e. print, digital, packaging, etc.)
- Audit existing materials for accuracy and out-of-date information (i.e. Product Finder)
- Lead all Trade Show activities
Administration
- Maintain product databases
- Report generation and analysis
- Support the development of brand planning activities by pulling performance data
- Complete competitive reviews / competitive monitoring
- Assist in evaluating marketing programs/activities
- Track status of projects
Required Qualifications
- Passion! Integrity! Creativity!
- Completion of a University degree with business or marketing focus and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 years relevant experience.
- Ability to prioritize deliverables and work independently or within a team
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Highly disciplined, organized, self-motivated and genuinely committed to success.
- A willingness to dive into the details
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Experience in the Natural Health Industry an asset.
- Some travel will be required for this role.
Travel
Travel may be required occasionally, including attendance at CHFA events and other company-related activities.
