We are looking for a Technical Equipment Sales Specialist who can combine strong customer instincts with an organized, solutions-focused approach to technical sales. In this role, you will help customers navigate equipment options, develop accurate quotations, and ensure a smooth and professional experience from first inquiry through to order handoff.

You will collaborate closely with internal technical, production, and operations teams to deliver responsive service, clear communication, and reliable support in a role that has a direct impact on customer satisfaction and sales success.
What You’ll Do
- Be the first point of contact for equipment sales inquiries and develop accurate, timely quotations that help customers move forward with confidence.
- Partner with internal teams to confirm pricing, technical details, lead times, and order requirements.
- Guide customers toward equipment solutions that align with their operational needs, technical specifications, and timelines.
- Maintain momentum on opportunities by tracking quotations, following up with customers, and responding to questions promptly.
- Support a seamless transition from quotation to order by coordinating clear handoffs for processing, fulfillment, and production planning.
- Keep sales records, correspondence, and related documentation organized and accurate.
- Contribute ideas that improve quoting workflows, documentation, and the overall customer experience.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of product documentation and training.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in technical sales, estimating, quoting, customer support, or a similar customer-facing role.
- The ability to review customer requirements and technical information and translate them into clear, practical solutions.
- Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a professional, service-oriented approach.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Post-secondary education in business, sales, marketing, technology, or a related field is an asset, but equivalent experience will also be considered.
Bonus points for
- Military or naval procurement, project, or service experience.
