Security Advisor

Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll have :

• Ensure that the architecture and implementation allow for stable, up-to-date and scalable solutions;
• Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of activities in order to make an independent assessment of risk management, control and governance processes;
• Advise partners and colleagues in the positioning of risks related to critical cross-functional projects and strategic mandates;
• Support stakeholders in the planning, development and monitoring of action plans related to risk management.

The Profile You Are Looking For Is As Follows

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer engineering or an appropriate discipline;
• Have a minimum of six years of relevant experience;
• Hold CISA, CIA or CISSP certification, or be in the process of obtaining it (an asset);
• Knowledge of application security and related methodologies;
• Understand network security and related solutions, including firewalls, IPS, IDS, SIEM and NGFW;
• Experience with telecommunications systems, including routers, hubs, firewalls, Cisco and Check Point;
• Apply best practices in identity management, authentication, and asset access authorization;
• This position requires working primarily in French, while requiring a functional command of English for daily tasks. This English proficiency is essential for understanding documentation and ensuring professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada.
