Chief Financial Officer

What You'll Do

As a key member of our Executive Team, you will:

• Lead financial strategy, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term business planning
• Oversee financial reporting including revenue, expenses, balance sheets, cash flow, and stakeholder reporting
• Provide insight into profitability, margins, cost management, and growth opportunities
• Develop and manage banking relationships, financing strategies, and lender partnerships
• Lead capital planning, including project evaluation, investment decisions, and ROI analysis
• Oversee insurance programs, employee benefits, pension plans, and financial risk management
• Strengthen internal controls, reporting processes, and operational efficiencies
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to support executive decision-making
• Mentor and develop finance team members, including direct leadership of both Controllers

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (CPA/MBA considered an asset)
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including managing a team
• Strong experience in financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and business strategy
• Experience within construction, ICI contracting, land development, or homebuilding preferred
• Strong understanding of project costing, capital planning, and cash flow management
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• A strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Finance: 10 years (required)
• managing a team: 10 years (required)

Licence/Certification

• Chartered Professional Accountant (preferred)
• MBA (preferred)
