We are currently seeking a talented individual to join the curriculum & Assessment team. This position supports schools throughout Yukon with best instructional practices and curriculum and policy implementation. The position works collaboratively with colleagues to determine the most effective methods for achieving common educational goals.

Essential Qualifications
- Successful completion of six years of academic/professional training including possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Education.
- A minimum of six years of recent experience as a teacher, administrator, or education consultant in a K–12 school environment.
- Experience coaching, training, and mentoring school staff.
- Experience incorporating First Nations cultures and traditions in curriculum, policy development and classroom instruction.
- Experience teaching primary grades is considered an asset.
- Experience developing curriculum is considered an asset.
- Experience teaching and/or supporting educational staff in a rural setting is considered an asset..
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

This is a designated position within the Yukon public service which requires the following condition(s) of employment:
- Security clearance, including Vulnerable Sector Check
