Job Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Aluminum Exterior Installer / Crew Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with soffit, fascia, and eavestrough installation, along with strong leadership skills to oversee crews and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
- This role is perfect for an experienced construction professional who enjoys working on residential and commercial projects, leading teams, solving problems on-site, and delivering exceptional exterior finishing work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate installation crews on residential and commercial job sites.
- Install aluminum exterior systems, including soffit, fascia, eavestroughs, and related components.
- Measure, cut, fabricate, and install aluminum materials according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and exterior installation equipment safely.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and safety requirements.
- Manage daily job-site activities, including material handling, equipment organization, and site cleanliness.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Train, mentor, and support team members to improve productivity and workmanship.
- Identify and resolve installation challenges while maintaining quality standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience installing soffit, fascia, eavestroughs, and aluminum exterior systems.
- Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience in construction.
- Strong knowledge of exterior construction practices and job-site operations.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, drills, saws, and fabrication equipment.
Experience In Related Trades Such As
- Siding
- Roofing
- Carpentry
- Restoration
- Exterior finishing
- Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and work ethic.
Driver's License Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be legally able to operate a pickup truck with a trailer according to provincial regulations.
- Experience driving RAM 1500/Ford trucks with 16-18 ft trailers is required.
- Ability to safely transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites.
- Experience performing basic vehicle and trailer safety checks is an asset.
