IT Technician

Job description

• Install, maintain, repair, manage and optimize various computer equipment;

• Manage various software used and user access via Active Directory;

• Contribute to the implementation of IT procedures and document them;

• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all computer equipment;

• Manage communications between employees and the company;

• Follow up and place orders for computer equipment;

• Participate in the company's continuous improvement projects;

• Perform all other related tasks.

Skills in demand

• DEC or AEC in Computer Science;

• Customer service oriented;

• Demonstrate patience, initiative and autonomy;

• Discretion and professionalism;

• Experience in technical support (office automation and infrastructure);

• Comfortable with the Exchange and Outlook environment (account creation, basic access and troubleshooting);

• Comfortable with Windows platforms (Windows 11, Windows Server and VmWare);

• Knowledge of the following computer equipment: printers, laptops, desktop computers, cell phones (iPhone an

asset);

• Experience in videoconferencing and LAN, WAN, Wifi and Bluetooth networks;

• The ability to communicate orally in English is an asset.
