Schedule

• 8-hour shift
• Rotation; nights, afternoons, days
• Overtime

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $23 per hour

Responsibilities And Duties

• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in all work areas (non-production) throughout the facility, including lunch rooms, offices, washrooms,
• Strong focus to ensure all washrooms are cleaned, stocked with supplies and well-maintained
• Quickly respond to any emergency cleaning needs that may come about throughout the workday
• Ensure all departments are sufficiently stocked with the necessary cleaning supplies
• Clean windows, dust, mop floors, and collect garbage around the facility from the offices, etc.
• Support other members of the team with some general maintenance tasks and inspections (i.e. painting, installing signage, etc.)
• Follow all SOPs and GMPs regularly
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, department manager(s) and Human Resources
• Perform general cleaning duties in employee eating areas (tables, chairs, surfaces, inside fridges, etc.); both indoors and outdoors
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work in large organization is preferred
• Experience or training handling chemicals considered an asset
• Must pass in-house chemical training
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, afternoons, nights, and/or weekends
• Proven ability to work effectively as a team
• Must be capable of speaking, reading, and writing English
• Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs
• Attention to details and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment
