Department, Unit or Project Description:

The Global Peace & Social Justice program is seeking a current undergraduate or graduate student to assist with online course development for PEACJUST 1A03 – Peace, Justice, Human Rights.

Job Summary

Responsible for applying learning pedagogy and industry expertise to the development of an University course.

Accountabilities

• Develop module topics through consultation with Faculty Leads.

• Develop supplementary topics through consultation with Subject Matter Experts (industry, government, etc.).

• Complete research on identified topics to develop content for course modules.

• Develop and administer surveys to determine course content, delivery methods, etc.

• Assist with development of a student evaluation plan.

• Develop the courses Project module in conjunction with faculty members.

Qualifications

Education: Completed or currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree in a related field.

Experience: Curriculum development experience, considered an asset.

Assets

• Well-equipped with digital technology and Microsoft Power Point, including the software Kaltura Capture

• Previous experience in Global Peace and Social Justice programs or similar
