What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Housing Facilities Manager, the Housing Facilities Coordinator plays a vital role within the team. This position involves management, coordination, and scheduling of various services, handling inquiries, overseeing accounts payable, managing move-in/move-out processes, and maintaining office administration. Utilizing the resources provided by the Bruce County Housing Corporation, including the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Security Center System, and SharePoint, the Housing Facilities Coordinator employs effective communication, multitasking, and property management administration skills. In addition to providing administrative support, this role requires adherence to Bruce County's Housing Corporation's preventative maintenance standards and ensures compliance with building and corporate standards. The Housing Facilities Coordinator is instrumental in maintaining a seamless and organized operation within the Housing Facilities.
Contract Duration: 12-months
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- Two-year post-secondary diploma in Accounting or Business Administration.
- Strong knowledge and experience in all Microsoft applications.
- Minimum three years of prior experience in a service-based customer service role, with a minimum of 1-year experience in a business administration or operations field.
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Proven records maintenance skills.
- Ability to work with sensitivity towards the diverse perspectives of individual clients and community service providers, while meeting the objectives and targets of the department.
- Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands.
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team.
- Ability to work independently with critical thinking to understand where escalation is necessary.
- Demonstrated time management skills.
- Valid Class G Driver’s License
- Clean Criminal Record Reference Check
What We Offer
- Competitive Salary: $ 66,867-$ 78,660 per annum
- Hours per week: 35 hours
- Percentage in lieu of benefits
- Vacation pay
