LYNXEL Crop Protection is a Canadian crop protection business with an initial focus on serving farmers and agricultural customers in Saskatchewan.

We are building a focused portfolio of crop protection products, with an emphasis on dependable seasonal availability, practical customer service, and long-term relationships with growers and agricultural partners.

Our initial market focus is Regina and the surrounding agricultural communities in Southern Saskatchewan. As the business develops, the assigned territory will gradually expand based on customer needs and market opportunities.

The Opportunity

LYNXEL Crop Protection is seeking an experienced Territory Sales Representative – Crop Protection to develop customer relationships and build our presence in the Regina area and surrounding agricultural communities.

This is a full-time, office- and field-based sales position and is not an entry-level role.

The successful candidate will work directly with the founder of LYNXEL Crop Protection and will take meaningful responsibility for developing the assigned territory from the ground up.

The position is based in Regina and combines office work with extensive field travel. The successful candidate will regularly visit farms, growers, agricultural retailers, local industry events, and surrounding communities throughout the territory.

This is not a desk-only or remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with growers, farmers, agricultural retailers, and other agricultural industry contacts.

• Develop new customer relationships through farm visits, referrals, local contacts, agricultural events, and consistent follow-up.

• Identify new sales opportunities and develop the Regina-area territory in a structured and professional manner.

• Understand growers’ seasonal crop protection needs and present appropriate product options.

• Explain crop protection products clearly, accurately, and professionally, while recognizing when agronomic or technical questions should be referred for additional support.

• Follow up on customer inquiries, quotations, orders, deliveries, and other customer requirements.

• Maintain regular communication with existing and prospective customers throughout the growing season.

• Gather local market information and provide feedback on customer needs, product demand, competitive activity, and market opportunities.

• Maintain accurate customer, sales, opportunity, and territory records.

• Work closely with the founder on territory planning, customer development, and the company’s early-stage growth in Saskatchewan.

• Represent LYNXEL Crop Protection professionally within the local agricultural community.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of direct experience in crop protection sales, crop input sales, agronomy sales involving crop protection products, or a closely related agricultural sales role.

• Practical knowledge of crop protection products and the seasonal needs of Saskatchewan growers.

• Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and maintain customer relationships.

• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.

• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for a developing sales territory.

• Comfortable visiting farms, meeting growers, and developing business through in-person customer contact.

• Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle.

• Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout Regina and surrounding agricultural communities.

• Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing relationships with growers, agricultural retailers, agronomists, or other agricultural industry contacts in Southern Saskatchewan.

• Previous experience developing a new sales territory or customer base.

• Knowledge of Saskatchewan crop production, crop protection practices, and local agricultural markets.

• Agricultural education, agronomy training, or equivalent practical industry experience would be considered an asset.

Compensation and Employment Terms

• Full-time employment.

• Competitive base salary, depending on experience.

• Sales commission.

• Mileage reimbursement for approved business travel using a personal vehicle.
