The Reading Foundation is a private clinic, located in the neighbourhood of Mission, that specializes in the assessment and treatment of learning difficulties through intensive one-to-one remediation. We’ll train you in our unique and interesting programs.

Clinicians are responsible for:

• Instructing students one-to-one in all remediation programs
• Carefully following student’s individual programs
• Communicating observations about students
• Contributing to an empowering and collegial environment

We are currently hiring for part-time positions starting in September 2026. Required availability for these positions is all Saturdays (8:00 am – 4:30 pm), and 2 or more after-school sessions (3:30 pm – 6:30 pm). Friday afternoon (12:30 pm – 6:30 pm) availability is an asset.

We accept applications throughout the year for full and part-time positions. Minimum 1 year commitment.

Successful candidates will have:

• Completed or nearly completed a degree or diploma in a related area.
• The ability to establish rapport quickly, and with people of all ages and abilities
• A patient manner and compassionate nature
• The ability to adapt their teaching style to the needs of the student

A background in psychology, some education streams (including EA), linguistics, English, sociology, or cognitive science is an asset but not a requirement.

Pay and benefits are commensurate with experience and position in the company.
