Job Title: RQ11356 - Product Manager - Junior

Client: Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement

Work Location: Toronto, Ontario, Onsite

Estimated Start Date: 2026-08-10

Estimated End Date: 2027-03-31

#Business Days: 177.00

Extension: Probable after the initial mandate

Hours per day or Week: 7.25 hours per day

Must Have

  • 5+ years of experience in product management.
  • Agile and traditional project management experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience in the data & AI domain.
  • Act as the liaison between clients and development teams.
  • Translate business strategy into product strategy and subsequently the translation to high level requirements.
  • Own and execute the product roadmap.
  • Provide insights and collateral to stakeholders on the specific areas of the product.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including:
  • gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements
  • defining the product vision
  • ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals
  • identify and fill product gaps
  • Generate new ideas that grow market share
  • Improve customer experience
  • Drive growth
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  • Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
  • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between clients and development teams.

  • Own and execute the product roadmap.
  • Provide insights and collateral to stakeholders on the specific areas of the product.
  • Manage all aspects of the product throughout its lifecycle, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues.
  • Act as the product owners in agile ceremonies.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Relevant education.
  • Experience in the data & AI domain.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management.
  • Agile and traditional project management experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Ability working in Agile, fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with large-scale distributed systems with many stakeholders and clients.
