Full Time - Monday to Friday

Duties

  • Prepare bank reconciliations
  • Prepare and enter journal entries
  • Reconcile key accounts
  • Review, maintain and process accounts payable and receivable
  • Administer bi-weekly payroll, including creation of Records of Employment
  • Prepare and pay pension remittances and federal payroll deductions
  • Prepare staff training allocations
  • Follow licensing, supplier and government policies and procedures to ensure compliance
  • Order, record and reconcile gift cards
  • Follow up on past due receivables and discrepancies with vendors and/or funders
  • Prepare and submit wage claims for Employment programs

Qualifications

  • Have a post-secondary diploma in an Accounting or Business field
  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a computerized environment with a proficiency in Accounting & payroll software (Oracle NetSuite and ADP preferred)
  • Have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Be proficient in MS Office and be familiar with databases
  • Have access to reliable transportation
