We’re looking for a detail-oriented Facilities Supervisor to manage the maintenance and operations of our facility. Reporting to Project Superintendent, this role oversees a small team and external vendors, ensuring efficient upkeep of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Responsibilities include coordinating repairs and renovations, maintaining safety and compliance standards, managing inspections and certifications, and responding to facility-related emergencies. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in facility management.
What You Can Expect…
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of utilities staff and external service providers.
- Manage and develop preventive and corrective maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical and other systems.
- Oversee building security, access control, and emergency preparedness.
- Coordinate facility repairs, upgrades, renovations, and space planning projects.
- Responsible for organizing regulatory inspections/ recertification of equipment (e.g. fall protection equipment/ manlifts/ elevators/ hoists and under the hook etc.)
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance logs, and service reports.
- Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and service requests.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Monitor facility budgets, track expenses, and assist in cost control initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Other related duties as assigned.
What We Expect
…
- Minimum of a post-secondary technical diploma, trade certification (e.g. Journeyman), or equivalent supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Leadership experience in a role involving leading, supervising, coaching, or managing employees is considered an asset.
- Experience in industrial or commercial setting is an asset.
- Proven experience managing safety regulations, project scheduling, quality and cost control.
- Experience with MS Office Suite and SAP or other CMMS software.

The starting range for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 or higher, depending on your experience.
