We're looking for a Human Resources Support Specialist who is passionate about people, workplace culture, and safety. In this role, you'll provide day-to-day HR and safety support, helping ensure employees have a positive experience from recruitment through onboarding and beyond.

What You'll Do

Employee Experience & HR Support

  • Serve as a primary contact for HR-related questions and support
  • Assist with onboarding, offboarding, benefits, and employee programs
  • Educate employees on HR policies, procedures, and systems

HR Operations & Recruitment

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Support payroll-related administration, attendance, and leave tracking
  • Coordinate job postings, interviews, candidate communication, and onboarding activities

Compliance & Safety

  • Support HR compliance, reporting, and policy administration
  • Maintain safety records, training documentation, and incident reporting
  • Assist with safety training, Workplace Health & Safety Committee activities, and corrective action tracking
  • Promote safe work practices and a strong culture of safety

HR Programs & Continuous Improvement

  • Support engagement, recognition, training, and performance initiatives
  • Assist with HR and safety reporting and metrics
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes and enhance the employee experience

What You Bring

  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Experience in HR, administration, payroll support, or employee services is an asset
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • CPHR designation (or working toward it) is considered an asset
