Verify resource requirements and availability before scheduling planned work and determining work orders with appropriate status.
Generating and reviewing the schedule with the Maintenance Team to refine details surrounding current conditions and operation to incorporate operational concerns and limitations. Modify schedules if required.
Releasing all work orders daily for completion to the maintenance leads and trades, ensuring all identified resources are assigned to open work orders
Maintaining, coordinating and expediting the flow of materials and components for all scheduled work
Interacting daily with Maintenance Team to ensure schedules are adhered to and modified as necessary
Interact with 3rd party vendors for maintenance support.
Review of completed work orders for recording of required data, planned vs. actual; hours, tools, materials, and safety requirements to identify any required changes or improvements
Tracking and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Be available for on-call operational work based on a predetermined schedule
College diploma in a related field
Experience in mechanical work planning in a unionized environment is an asset
Ability to work well under pressure
Strong organizational skills
Strong sense of time management to meet maintenance deadlines
Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with various departments to ensure continuity of operations
Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions in critical situations
Ability to assume supervisory or management duties
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Oracle/E1 experience is an asset
