Python QA Engineer

Location: Halifax NS- hybrid 4 days

Contract to hire

Job Summary

What will you do?

1. Primary Skill(s): Strong Experience in Designing, Developing and Maintaining Test Suites using any of the following automation frameworks : Python, Robot Framework, Selenium, or Playwright;

2. Secondary Skill(s): Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, can communicate technical concepts clearly, and have experience working in collaborative, fast-paced environments

3. Nice to have’s: Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Background with GraphQL, message queues, or event-driven architectures. Track record of learning and working effectively with emerging technologies.

  • Experience using GenAI tooling for test-related activities
  • Mentor a team of QA engineers, providing technical guidance and career development support
  • Design, develop, and oversee automated test frameworks using industry-standard tools (Behave – Python - Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
