We're Hiring: Site Superintendent – Early Fall 2026 Start

Thunder Bay, Ontario

HIE/Candlewood Suites

16–18 Month Duration

Chamberlain Construction is looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to join our team for the delivery of a new 6-storey, 120-suite Home2 Holiday Inn Express/Candlewood hotel in Thunder Bay. This project features a combination of Cold-Formed Steel (CFS), precast, concrete, and steel construction.

As Site Superintendent, you’ll lead onsite operations and collaborate closely with our project managers, consultants, trades, and client representatives to deliver a safe, efficient, and high-quality build.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Overseeing day-to-day site operations and maintaining safety and quality standards
  • Managing scheduling, coordination of trades, and onsite construction activities
  • Leading site meetings and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with project plans, specs, and timelines

Who You Are:

  • A seasoned construction leader with hotel and/or mid-rise experience
  • Highly organized, proactive, and confident managing all phases of construction
  • Comfortable with CFS, precast, and mixed-material projects
  • Able to start Early Fall 2026 and commit to the full duration of the project
