Our client is a privately held real estate company managing a diverse portfolio of commercial properties across Canada and the United States. They are seeking a Property Management Coordinator to join their Vancouver office and support tenant relations, property operations, and administration.
Your New Role
Reporting to the Director, Property Management, the Property Management Coordinator will be responsible for supporting day-to-day property operations while acting as a key point of contact for tenants. You will coordinate maintenance requests, assist with lease administration, maintain tenant records, and ensure an exceptional level of tenant service across the portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for tenant inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair requests with vendors and contractors.
- Build positive tenant relationships through proactive communication and follow-up.
- Maintain tenant files, lease information, and property records within Yardi.
- Track lease renewals, expiries, rent changes, and insurance requirements.
- Assist with rent collections, tenant correspondence, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate rent rolls and assist with property reporting.
- Coordinate tenant move-ins, move-outs, and welcome packages.
- Support the Director, Property Management with daily operations and administrative tasks.
- Ensure a professional and positive experience for tenants, visitors, and stakeholders.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- 3+ years of experience in property management, tenant services, or property administration.
- Strong tenant-facing customer service skills.
- Experience with Yardi or similar property management software.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Post-secondary education in Property Management, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an asset.
