Senior Superintendent - Civil
Maple Reinders is currently looking to add a senior, lead construction superintendent to our Civil team in Ontario. This role will support the NYDSS Project, with work spanning from Richmond Hill to Newmarket.
As a Senior Superintendent with our Civil Division, you will take a lead role in managing multiple field teams and overseeing large-scale sewer upgrade work, including the construction of several sewage pumping stations. This is a key leadership role for a complex civil infrastructure project. The successful candidate will provide senior-level field direction, coordinate site resources, and support pre-construction planning ahead of construction starting in Spring 2027.
At Maple Reinders, we look for leaders who can:
- Direct field operations in the delivery of projects by adhering to schedules, budgets, safety and risk.
- Effectively manage field employees by providing guidance and leadership on construction activities and developing effective communication between field and other project staff.
- Develop and execute project work plans aimed at keeping projects on track and on budget.
- Provide senior-level field leadership, manage multiple teams, coach field staff on issue resolution, review site labour requirements, mentor field staff and perform succession planning.
Our Senior Superintendent will oversee a large-scale civil infrastructure scope and lead multiple construction teams, trades and hourly employees. The successful candidate must be comfortable working across the project corridor from Richmond Hill to Newmarket. We are focused on candidates who currently have:
- Senior-level superintendent experience with a General Contractor in a leadership role, including experience managing multiple field teams
- Tunneling and sewage pumping station experience is required
- Post-secondary education, CET or equivalent
- Proficiency with MS Office and Windows based computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and Project)
- Experience managing site operations on complex, large-scale civil infrastructure projects
- Experience with sewer upgrades, wastewater infrastructure, pump stations or similar civil/environmental work would be considered an asset

Salary Range: $150,000 - $190,000 / Year (depending on experience)
Location: Richmond Hill, ON. The NYDSS Project will span from Richmond Hill to Newmarket.
