WE’RE HIRING: RADIO ADVERTISING SALES

Torres Media is growing! We're looking for a full-time Advertising Sales Representative to join our team.

And just to be clear - this is not selling accounting software.

This is radio.

One day you might be sitting with the owner of a local restaurant dreaming up a crazy promotion. The next, you could be at a community event, meeting a new business owner, helping launch a new campaign or hearing an ad YOU helped create playing on the radio.

You’ll be out in the community, meeting people, building relationships and coming up with creative ways to help local businesses get noticed.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Meet local business owners and learn what makes their businesses tick
• Develop creative radio and marketing ideas that actually get people talking
• Find and develop new advertising clients
• Build long-term relationships with clients
• Create advertising proposals and campaigns
• Attend community events, networking events and station promotions
• Work with our creative and on-air teams to bring great ideas to life
• And yes... hear the campaigns you sold actually playing on the radio!

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’re outgoing, curious and comfortable talking to people.

You like the idea of getting out from behind a desk.

You’re creative, organized and motivated by winning new business.

Sales experience is definitely an asset, but so is personality, drive and the ability to connect with people.

You’ll need:

• A valid driver’s licence
• Reliable transportation
• Availability for full-time hours
• Strong communication skills
• Confidence approaching and meeting new people
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
