Alliance Technical Group (ATG) is a Blackstone-backed environmental compliance, testing, and monitoring company with more than 60 locations across North America. We are seeking an accomplished Business Development Manager to grow our Ontario territory and help strengthen a high-performing sales organization.

This highly visible role offers direct exposure to ATG’s Chief Commercial Officer, CEO, business unit presidents, and the Blackstone deal team. The successful candidate will develop new business, expand existing customer relationships, and identify and close strategic project opportunities throughout Toronto, Sarnia, and London. Regular travel within the territory is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities
  • Build and expand relationships with new and existing customers
  • Develop relationships with industry partners and consultants
  • Understand client needs and position ATG’s services and capabilities effectively
  • Partner with operations and technical experts to secure new opportunities
  • Represent ATG at local, regional, and national industry events
  • Manage sales activities, follow-up, and opportunities through Salesforce
  • Consistently demonstrate integrity, initiative, and a strong drive to succeed

Qualifications

  • Three to five years of direct sales experience, preferably within industrial, technical, environmental, or field services
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, or a related field preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM platform
  • Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and deliver results
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly
  • Ability to successfully complete required background and drug screening
